The building materials have been adopted from its industrial surroundings. The first building in the development used rough, cast in situ concrete walls and this aesthetic has been carried through. These walls make up the street facades. Using concrete has allowed for large, un-interrupted spans and large expanses of glazing, which creates large display windows, facing the street, ideal for its showroom function.
Textured black face brick will be used on the North and South Facades. The brickwork is punctuated by full height strip windows.
The building will be multi-tenanted with the lower ground tenants can be accessed off the street. The upper and first floor tenants will enter the building via an industrial steel staircase. The staircase sits in an open air foyer lit with skylights from above.
The building is set to be complete by November 2017.
