Pran Boulevard - Umhlanga
Situated on the Umhlanga Rocks Drive side of Umhlanga Ridge, the building has 5,640m2 of lettable space with office functions, canteens, and a coffee shop. The concept was based on a building that could be single or multi-tenanted. The structure is divided into two buildings to provide more natural light, and respond to hot and humid climatic conditions. One building will be occupied by KPMG and the other by the developers themselves.
The in-between spaces allowed for social interaction for the staff, with a large overhanging cantilever providing shade for the outside eating spaces. 240 parking bays have been provided. The building has been designed with green building principles in mind.
