39 Commerce Crescent

The conversion of this 3-storey commercial building into a 4-storey showroom involved stripping down the building to its concrete frame before adding an additional floor. Cantilevered off-shutter concrete and black face brick forms are offset against reflective glass facades. A central atrium with skylight punctures the deep floorplate, and circulation between the floors was improved with a sculptural central stair and goods lift.
