ASSOCIATE: PARAGON INTERFACE
Originally trained as a chef in the winelands of Stellenbosch, Kirsty is inspired by the creative process and the order of design.
She then studied Interior Design at Design Time School of Interior Design in Cape Town, during which time she fell in love with architecture and interior design, particularly the feeling of creating spaces and detail.
During her first job as site clerk on a building site, she learned a great deal about the construction process and how things are built. She began working for Paragon in 2007.
As an Associate, Kirsty’s focus areas are in corporate office space planning, workplace strategy, design and detailing. Her most notable project achievements include Absa Capital, Norton Rose, the Sasol Head Office, and the Discovery Head Office.
Kirsty is inspired by watching design become reality, by working to enhance the spaces that people occupy, and by creating spaces that enhance people’s lives. She believes that God is in the detail, and that there is beauty in simplicity. Her special interests are food, art, wine, people and travel.
